'Time flies in golden wings', a good friend of mine used to say.
My goodness me!
So that's your age now? 18 years old? Wow!
I should pull your ear 18 times plus one for the good luck. Do you remember? I could never do it to you being your birthday in August ... lucky boy!

Well, I remember you since you were very young, when you were a six-year-old boy. You were always a quiet student eager to learn new things.
However, at the same time, you never missed the opportunity to have fun with your friends at school. I would even say that, during my English classes when I wasn't looking at you, you were capable of being quite mischievous but you were so so good at it that it wasn't easy to catch you!!! Amazing!

You kept on growing up and, finally, I had the chance of becoming your tutor in 4th of ESO and it was a real pleasure. It made me aware of something that I already knew. That you are a very nice guy with a lot of friends and people that love you and that you have plenty of determination to achieve whatever you want in life.

After ESO, you continued your studies in another school. So I lost the daily contact that I had had with you for so long. You became to be an Ex-pupil!!!

However, your mum has always provided me with your last achievements. She has always been very proud about you!

You know! Mums are like that!

And, of course, it has been her who has told me about this fantastic idea of sending you our best wishes of happiness on your 18th birthday through this blog.
